City Tatts DA stalled at Land and Environment Court

The City Tatts DA has hit a brickwall at the Land and Environment Court.

It’s been there since June with no sign of progress.

Ever since Patrick Campion announced that he would take the DA to the Land and Environment Court, all the predictions from property experts were that he would fail.

There is another hearing, an Adjourned Conciliation Conference on 26th October.

Balmain Leagues Club were knocked back two weeks ago by the Court. That can’t be a good omen for City Tatts.

Most observers say the City Tatts property development (ie. Tony Guilfoyle’s property development) has been near death for a while, and will soon be given the last rites.

There is more chance of a property development in combination with the David Jones site that backs on to the club.

The real question is who would be the winner then – the Club or the developer?
